Overview
The Survivor has bulletproof vests that allow him to survive attacks at night. The Survivor must live to the end of the game in order to win - it does not matter who else he wins with.
Strategies
- A distinct advantage over Citizens is that the Survivor can choose which faction it would rather support and change at any time. Simply supporting the faction that is currently winning is a viable strategy to winning the game.
- When threatened it is usually a good idea to simply claim to be a Survivor. Neither the Town or Mafia has any reason to see a Survivor as a significant threat and both can utilize the role to their advantage. However, the Town often chooses to lynch the Survivor if no other leads are available, for fear the Survivor will betray them later on. Reveal at your own risk.
- Unless dealing with a Neutral Killing role such as an Arsonist or Serial Killer who has some momentum its usually better to use bulletproof vests sooner rather than later as a Survivor. Mafia kills tend to be more random towards the beginning of the game and once everyone knows who the Survivor is they are far less likely to target them.
- Often, claiming Survivor after a few days/nights into the game can benefit you, espesically if there is an Arsonist in play. Claiming Survivor can benefit you in this situation primarily due to the fact you win with EVERYONE, as long as you survive to the end. This means if you inform the Arsonist or Serial Killer that you can win with them if they survive to the end, you can simply "bribe" them passively that they have an ally among the Town, which is more than appealing to these two considering they are generally without an ally throughout the whole game, and can help them in a tie-situation and even forces them to help keep you alive in certain situations. Just be sure to use caution when saying this, and do not directly say up front that you will support the victory of a Serial Killer/Arsonist/Mafia, or the Town will surely lynch you if they lack any leads.
Options
- Number of bulletproof vests 1 - (Default: Off)
- Number of bulletproof vests 2 - (Default: Off)
- Number of bulletproof vests 3 - (Default: On)
- Number of bulletproof vests 4 - (Default: Off)
If all the Number of bulletproof vests options are unchecked, the Survivor will have no vests.
Notes
- Survivor wins with all roles at the end of the game, be it a Serial Killer, or Arsonist. As long as you survive to the end of the game, you win; no matter who is left standing with you.
- A bulletproof vest will block multiple kills (except if Arsonist's ability to pierce night immunity is on).
- Receives bonus points at the end of the game.
