Overview
The Deceiver has the ability to hide in a player's home, redirecting all effects targeting the Deceiver to instead affect his target.
Strategy
- Be very "loud" during the day. Act like a troll to attract neutral killers to target you, then hide in a player's home thus causing that player to die.
- If there are no possible Doctors or Bodyguards left in the game, claim an important town role IE; Investigator, Sheriff etc. to attract neutral killers to target you, and then hide in a player's home thus causing that player to die.
Options
- Becomes Enforcer if Alone - (Default = On)
- Can Hide 3 times - (Default = Off)
- Can Hide 4 times - (Default = Off)
- Target is notified - (Default = Off)
- Can Hide behind Triad- (Default = Off)
If both the Can Hide # times options are unchecked, the Deceiver will be able to Hide 2 times.
Notes
- Roles that target the Deceiver will instead effect the Deceiver's target similar to a 1 directional Bus Driver.
- Attempting to hide behind someone that is jailed by a Jailor, will cause the hide attempt to fail.
- If a Witch forces a Deceiver to target himself, the Deceiver will receive the message "You cower in the corner, hiding behind yourself."
