Yep, smart people look to the source before making an informed decision. I think it was James Cameron or Steven Spielberg who appeared in an RIAA-related anti-piracy commercial a few years back, you know, when they were suing little kids? They were arguing how it hurts the pay of the low-paid staff who work on movies and shit, and that's pretty much their entire point.

So basically they're saying "We'll factor in piracy, and take it from the staff pay."

A 12 year old pirated around 4000 songs? That's $3900-9000 he would've otherwise guaranteed have spent in iTunes!
