If you control a Mafia,sK,Vigilanite or any other killing role the Death Note will show up.

I think it has always been this way. Never seen it happen though.

Allow clarification.
Witch can use a Death Note, which will only appear if a Witch forces someone to suicde, like a Vigilante shooting themselves, something like that. But that is the only case, if a Witch makes a Mafioso shoot someone, it is the Mafioso's Death Note that will appear, not the Witch's.
